The Cheshire Cat (From Alice In Wonderland)

I went to see Alice in Wonderland at Alamanda Putrajaya cinema on 14th of March 2010, and really fascinated with this cat. Untill today, I keep smiling when remember him. Even in stress mode (a little bit this week), I only look at this picture and try to smile like him (It working, but sometimes).

In this tale, Chess (his nickname) has an ability to disappear. It looks like he's a coward but really a helpful one. However some of my friends said this cat looks scary sometimes. But for me, I like this cat, whatever they describe him. Because, I find only this cat can smile so 'widemouthly'. Before I use to have cat at my home. But later, when I have no cat to pet, I started to hate them sometimes, because they poop at my yard. Damn cats!!! Hey, why not you guys just go to the nearby cinema and watch 'Alice in Wonderland'. See for yourself and one more, watch the 3D one.... Bye....

p/s : Sorry guyz, my blog is still under construction, I get boring with my previous blog template...

White & Red Wedding

Hi everybody..... sorry for the late update. I told ya in my 'Shoutbox'. I hope I'm getting better soon. Ok! What's up with this photo? Bride & the bridegroom? A traditional Malay wedding? All of those is correct. This photo was snapped during my neighbour's wedding at my hometown in Kedah. I forgot the date already but I remembered, this event was held nearly to Chinese New Year Celebration.
Can you see their costume were in white and red theme. I don't know much about the wedding theme, but people say they pick it due to Chinese New Year. Whatever.... Don't judge them on that, its their wedding day. Let them be. But, they did a good job on picking up the colors. Ok, enough of that. Now, can you see a group of men in the same costume behind the wedding couple? Good, now look to below photo.

They are the same group who performed at this wedding ceremony. Owh, in this case, maybe I like to replace the "wedding ceremony" phrase to walimatul urus, it is better. Sincerely, I didn't sure what they were performing on that day, mostly people will say they were performing nasyid. But, this group may perform "marhaban", "zanji", "zikir" and recite the prayer during the walimatul urus. Their appearance was unique, and their performance was not for entertainment mostly, they remind the guest and every Muslim there to remember God and Prophet.

Above is me and my friend with the wedding couple at their 'pelamin' or wedding stage. The bride was our childhood friend. We called her "kak long". We're neighbours. Can you see the pelamin was decorated in red and white? It was a beautiful pelamin. I don't know how much it cost them. But, it pretty expensive. Maybe when my time has come, then I will know. Now, we move to the next photo.

In this photo is the old folk in this neighbourhood (except the one in the stripe t-shirt,his son and the fellow at the far right, because they can't be considered as the old folk, still young man!) whom running up the Teh Tarik counter during the walimatul urus. Their presence made this walimatul urus go merrier. Of course, they were the backbone behind this walimatul urus, before, present and after the wedding, they still gave their efforts. That is the importance of neighbors. So, please, be a part of your neighborhood and contribute your support. Maybe next time, you'll need them so much. Another thing about this walimatul urus, it connected back our neighbors with the ex-neighbor which was long gone due to moving. See the photo below.

The old lady who sat at the left is our former neighbor. Right now she stayed with his children at another place. We miss her. She was my first employer. After graduate from secondary school while waiting for SPM result, I worked with her at a factory canteen as a..... hmm.. I'd no idea to describe it, just name me 'canteen boy'. What a nice memory I had when working with her.... Don't guess that. Just say "free food" and "hot factory chicks". Wow!!

I think that's all for today. I have to rest to recover early. Hopefully you don't get bored  reading this post. Frankly speaking, I'd no issue to write now. But, there are several usable points was reviewed in this post. Think carefully and drive carefully, hahaha! Perhaps, I'll come back with another interesting post expectantly. Maybe with the subject that I snapped with my SLR-Cam. Thank you for reading.... No comment eh?

Venus Flytrap

I bought this plant last year in December, but only during this chinese new year (February 2010) I snapped
its picture. I don't know much bout this plant, but I like it because it is unique. It has 'trappy' leave which automatically shut whenever insect accidentally stepped on it. Oops! Yes, it is carnivor plant.
The plant comes in two colour, mine is green and the other is purple. Actually, this plant usually didn't grow as high as you see in this picture. It prefer to grow close to its soil like grass. But I'm not sure about mine. Maybe I feed it with a lot of bugs. But now, this plant was left at my hometown in Kedah with my mom, she's the one who look after this plant. Maybe she likes it, and she refuse to let me take it to KL.
About caring on this plant, it is quite simple, just don't let the soil (made of moss) dry up, place it wherever there is sunlight and feed it seldomly with insect ( mosquito, fly, or any easy-digest type of insect). But the most practical aspect of caring on any plant is love. I hate to say it (any word related to love), but it is true, man. Because the plants are also creatures like us. Oh, yep, I just want to announce in my blog, that I captured this photo with my new SLR camera (Nikon D-5000), at last I had my own SLR cam.
But, I'm still learning to familiarise with the photography skill and the skill to use the camera, hahaha! But don't judge me to much. Someday, I'll be an expert, perhaps the Malaysian Next Top Photographer, maybe, we'll see. Never give up, never taking back your words...  Live stronger and grow stronger like this plant. Ok! too much babbling. The conclusion for now, just get the encyclopedia or google search if you insist to know more about this plant. Or just buy one and try to grow it on your own. Its special!!

L.O.V.E.

For someone who hasn't yet made any real attempt to get it, it's seem hard to view this topic from their perspectives. Anyway, love is a very interesting topic to be discussed. Some people say it's suck but there are  peoples always say it greats. It depends on how their fate end in love.

Me, I don't know much bout it. Seem that I haven't found my lady/ies yet. Once I failed but most of times after that, I keep rejecting  the love I got. It is really hard for me to make the decision. But, I love my life as a single right now. Perhaps, someday, I 'll end up like most people did. Getting married and having a family But not now, later!!

         I'm quite a traveler, moving from place to place as my career demands, I like to watch the acts of surrounding people I ever see. Love comes in any looks it could. Big, small, thin, fat, weak, strong, ugly, and even..... well, I like to mention it orange. Whatever.... Peoples always crazy bout this, as long as they like it and they hit the handsomely response, they don't care anymore bout look. Always heart is the best sign of divine love. But, there are several of them only judge their outcomes of the love. Some of the reason;
" He has good career,  I would not have to worry about my earning and will be having a luxurious life if I marrying him.", or,
" She's damn beautiful!! I'll be really proud to be her husband. My friends will get jealous with me." or,
" I need a child, and she will fulfill my will. So I'm agree for this marriage".

Sincere is also a part of love. However, not many people realized it. And the most important is, the  God blessing. God is The One we should love most. Without God love, we will never make it and  without God we will never been created...............

Hey, I really have no idea to write. besides there's no response to my blogs. Maybe my english is  suck. I do hate to speak in english. It is not my mother tounge language. But, I'll be writing to improve it... Next!!!

Flying Fish

Well, as a sailing electrical engineer, I really wish to see a whale, dolphine, mermaid, giant squid, giant shrimp or any sea monster during the voyage.

Maybe the luck still not with me untill now. However, I met this unique fish severals time while sailing. This unmonster type creature actually is a common phenomena amongst seafarers. I met this fish whenever the vessel is about a day left to reach the Bintulu port, Malaysia. (Other times: don't know, how many time I had a chance to work on the deck
during the voyages?)

About this fish, I only see a small one, perhaps as the size of normal mackerel. When viewing it from the deck, it just as small as an adult grasshopper. They also fly like a grasshopper. I never saw this fish floating in the air like a swallow. However, the appearance of this fish attract most of the seagull. Quite a lunch there. I wish to eat them also, since I've been wondering about the taste of fried flying fish. Anyway, flying fish is still extra-ordinary, just think, amongst of fish species only them had the ability to fly on themselves. As for human, we fly by the support of devices. They're amazing, right? It's God power..... Subhanallah.
